Pride Night Movie: Tangerines

Rainbow Rioters and LAX kick off Pride Month with a special screening of the critically acclaimed 2015 movie Tangerine! Tangerine is a true-to-life dark comedy that follows the transgender characters Sin-Dee Rella and Alexandra (played by Kitana “Kiki” Rodriguez and Mya Taylor) as they roam the streets of Sin-Dee in search of Sin-Dee’s boyfriend and new girlfriend Sketch Los Angeles.

Wellness for people on Juneteenth

For Black, LGBTQ+ troublemakers, and anyone else interested, Wellness for the People hosted a themed class that celebrates and celebrates the intersection between black and gay people. Participants gathered to enhance their understanding of these intersections through movement, education, and meditation.

EMEA Women @ Riot Panel

Rioters in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) hosted a panel discussion together. Hooligans from Berlin, Dubai and Los Angeles talked about the importance of cohesion, why cohesion should be multifaceted and how to show cohesion in the workplace. During the event, the EMEA team also created resources to help other rioters build solidarity.

Integrating members of the LGBTQ+ community into the workplace in the Asia Pacific region

Our Asia Pacific team worked with Out & Equal, an organization that advocates for members of the LGBTQ+ workplace in the workplace, to host a 90-minute workshop for HR team managers where they learn how to best support LGBTQ+ Rioters in the workplace.

Camp pride

Every second Thursday there is an internal discussion called “Campfire”. During Pride, we talked about the highlights from this article, thanked the people who made it a reality, and looked at what diversity and inclusion should look like in the future. We are passionate about telling diverse stories, creating diverse characters, and building diversity and inclusion in the way we do business. There’s always more to do, but we look forward to celebrating diversity in all its forms throughout the year.
