The Bus, a Mobile Cultural Space – Call for Projects Photographer Associated with the 2023 . Program

At the heart of its art project, OTRIS puts the issues of territories, population, mediation and art education. Every year, many artists and photographers are invited in this tripartite perspective, to implement the various projects of the association’s programme.

Program path

• Residency for art education in a school, extracurricular or medical-social environment, in an institution and for a period of 3 weeks.
• 3-week research and experimentation stay at the Château de Seix, in partnership with the Community of Communes Couserans-Pyrénées.
• Participation in the year-round retrospective of the 2023 program at Le Bus.
• Participation in the Zoom Photo Festival in Koziran for a week in May in Six.
• Participation throughout the year, as a resource photographer, in the Society’s Artistic and Cultural Project 2023.

How to apply

Any confirmed photographer of professional status, regardless of the nature of their photographic work, can participate in this call for projects.

The items that will be provided are:

• A folder that displays artwork in general.
• Memorandum of Intent presenting the potential outline of the Art Education Residency Project as well as the Experimental Residency Project.
• A CV and a short cover letter.

The bus

Le Bus – a mobile cultural space, offering a itinerant program in the field of visual arts and more specifically contemporary photography in the Ariège department. Residences, exhibitions, creative workshops, trainings and educational procedures with pictures … Transformed into a space for encounters and artistic discovery, Le Bus travels the roads of Ariège to the hinterland.
