After an eventful cinematic year, it’s time again: “The Oscar Goes to ….” In Los Angeles, I found 94th Academy Awards again in Hollywood’s traditional Dolby Theater – with fewer participants, but much more than last year, when the Academy was only able to hold a small celebration due to the pandemic.

Oscar 2022: ‘CODA’ wins Best Picture
This year, the guest list for the awards ceremony was significantly longer, and actors such as Nicole Kidman, Kristen Stewart and Ashton Kutcher participated on the red carpet. They did not receive any of the coveted Golden Boys, but other stars and films were able to look forward to an Oscar.
And the most important award of the evening – for the best film – went to the comedy drama “CODA”. Directed by Sian Haider. In the center of the plot is Emilia Jones as Ruby, who was raised in a deaf family. The tape, which won a total of three Oscars, is now Apple TV + to watch – thus for the first time a movie from a streaming provider has won an award in this category. Little surprise, as “Power of the Dog” has often been traded as a golden boy favorite by rival Netflix.! – startfragment ->! – startfragment ->! – startfragment ->
Will Smith: First slap – then Oscar
Best Actress Award Winner Jessica Chastain as a brilliant singer Tamara Faye Bakr in biography Awards “Tami Faye Eyes”. The Best Male Actor award went to Will Smith for “King Richard”, a tape about Tennis stars Serena and Venus Williams.
However, an earlier incident had overshadowed his appreciation. When presenter Chris Rock made a dubious joke at the expense of his wife Jada, Will Smith stormed the stage and slapped the star. In his acceptance speech, he later apologized to the academy, but not to his classmate.! – startfragment ->! – startfragment ->! – startfragment ->! – endfragment ->! – startfragment – ->! – start part ->
These are all Oscar winners
Favorite Big Secret Netflix’s The Power of the Dog went almost empty-handed. However, it took off Jane Campion, who is of New Zealand origin, won an Oscar for Best Director. The biggest winner of the evening is the epic “Dunes”, which won six out of ten nominations. He got one of these German composer Hans Zimmer, who after The Lion King received his second Academy Award for Best Motion Picture Music.
