Blizzard Shadowlands and Level 50 Sesame are awarded to old players – World of Warcraft

Don’t own Shadowlands yet? Post is waiting for you! Until September 5, 2022, you can get your free copy of the base version of Shadowlands, as well as the bonus level 50, on the Battle.net app. Enjoy the full Shadowlands experience and get ready for the release of Dragonflight later this year.

All Battle.net accounts that do not currently have a Shadowlands expansion and have an account-linked expansion license in the past will receive the basic version of Shadowlands and a free character level 50 bonus (nothing required to purchase).

Battle.net accounts without a previous expansion license linked to one of their World of Warcraft accounts or who have Shadowlands in one of their accounts will not receive a free Shadowlands copy.

How do I get my gift?

To receive your gift, complete the following steps:

1. Launch the Battle.net app and log in.
   • If you haven’t installed the app yet, you can Download here.
2. Click the gift icon * at the top right of the app, next to the notification bell icon.
3. In the confirmation window, find your gifts and click the Collect button.
4. Play World of Warcraft® and enjoy your free Shadowlands Base Edition and level 50 bonus.
