A successful day for polyarthritis in the Clément Marot space

The Lot delegation of ANDAR (National Association for Defense Against Rheumatoid Arthritis) organized the 14th Rheumatoid Arthritis Day on Saturday 27 April at Espace Clément-Marot in Cahors. Rheumatologists from Cahors Hospital Centre, joined by two rheumatologists from Toulouse and Brive, a nutritionist and a psychiatrist, led the morning workshops and covered the plenary topics in the afternoon. Topics related to rheumatoid arthritis and also other chronic inflammatory rheumatic diseases. This day brought together about a hundred participants, patients and relatives who were able to appreciate the interventions of specialists and exchange with them as well as exchange with other patients. The day ended with a short concert by the singer suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, Karenek, on the songs of Edith Piaf, accompanied by her rheumatologist on the cello. It's a beautiful moment, given his poignant interpretation and the presence of his doctor next to him on stage. The National President who made the trip for the day recalled the goals of ANDAR, which this year celebrates its 40th anniversary.
