The Sims inspire Baldur’s Gate 3 players to camp

Baldur’s Gate 3 players believe that adding some revolutionary features from Electronic Arts’ The Sims could improve campers’ lives in the game.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has been hailed as “one of the best RPGs ever”, and we can see why.

The game offers players almost unlimited gameplay options with many different paths, romances, and environments to explore. They can travel with different companions, each with completely different personalities and goals.

But now, after spending many hours in the game, some Baldur’s Gate 3 players feel that the game could benefit from adding features from another popular series they’ve enjoyed over the years: The Sims.

in The Reddit post is very popularone Baldur’s Gate 3 player said he realized that many of The Sims’ features would make the Baldur’s Gate 3 experience more rewarding, especially when it comes to time spent in camp.

I was hoping the camp would be more like a Sims lite version, where I could decorate and change the camp, but above all, I’d like to be able to interact with my comrades “, shared the player.

I want to play chess with Gael or go fishing with Astarion. I want to dance with Will or train with Leigh Zell. I want my pets to bathe and play with them. And I want to be able to do all of this whenever I want and whenever I want “, commented another.

Many others in the Baldur’s Gate 3 community agree, and are calling on Larian Studios to provide additional ways to change the camp design and experience.

It’s a bit strange that there is (as far as I know) only one cosmetic decision you can make for the camp in the entire game – said another player.

And they are right. Players were quick to point out the lack of customization options in the camp, such as the lack of a user-controlled player-specific tent. Others pointed out that some of the basic items players receive as rewards for completing difficult quests can’t even be displayed well in camp.

With Larian Studios listening to community feedback and releasing highly requested features like Magic Mirror, there’s a possibility that some of the customization and interaction improvements players have requested may make their way through Baldur’s Gate 3.
