Ringo and Salamanca, who will go in separate directions this Saturday, completed their final gallop together in pleasing fashion at Awapuni this morning. Fast work during a light session was held on the heavy No 1 grass and on the plough (good). Ringo and Salamanca used the No 1 grass and cruised over 800m in 52.1, the last 600m in 39.2.  Both horses are racing well and deserve a winning run for their honesty.
