Occitanie Sports Awards 2021: Voted Female Athlete of the Year
This is the return of great sports cups. Like every year, La Dépêche du Midi will reward the athletes who have distinguished themselves with the news in our departments. These sports awards are organized in partnership with the Occitanie Region.
as every year, Medidispatch Honors Occitanie’s champions with its famous sports cups. Although 2021 again saw the health crisis, many players in the sports world reported themselves last year. In order to determine who is eligible for the reward, we present to vote the names of the athletes from 7 divisions in the region, divided into six categories that will be submitted to your selection gradually until the 1st of March.
This Thursday, February 24, you can vote for Athlete of the Year. So, scroll to the bottom of this article, and to vote for the other categories, play again! Other categories are coming in the coming days. The results will be revealed during a grand ceremony organized in March in Montpellier.

Daniel Ramos has been shooting live on track for nearly 30 years. After passing through several national clubs, she was a member of Archers du Causse de Gramat for 3 years. With 11 international podiums including 3 world champion titles (2003, 2005, 2019) and 21 French championship titles, she has one of the best records in this discipline. With a bronze medal at the European Championship, two French shooting range titles and a French club team champion, 2021 was a good year for her. Participation in the French Nature Archery, Field Archery, 3D Archery and in the World Championships are her goals for 2022.
