Decryption – France is preparing to submit a resolution to the UN Security Council to help the 120,000 residents of Artsakh/Nagorno-Karabakh who are on the verge of starvation due to the blockade against Azerbaijan. Paris and major French regions will charter a humanitarian convoy next week to Armenia.

The lives of 120,000 men, women and children are in the hands of the UN Security Council? Since the Azerbaijani military closed on December 12, 2022, the only access road connecting Artsakh/Nagorno-Karabakh with the rest of the world – in this case: Armenia – its population, mostly Armenians, has been in distress. In addition to the almost daily shooting of villagers and border soldiers, no property or people, except for the murta and the monotonous (patients accompanied by the Red Cross), can enter or exit this 3,000-kilometre area.2 Which Baku has claimed as its own since Stalin in 1923 incorporated this Armenian land more than two and a half thousand years ago into the Socialist Republic of Azerbaijan.

Its inhabitants are dying because they are deprived of care, medicine, petrol, food, and sometimes electricity, water and the Internet, access to which is regularly cut off by the Azeris around them. Many deaths are already there …
