Fomel: Revegetation of urban space is in progress

The street that wants to become a “garden street” underwent a transformation at the end of 2022 with work to bring the public collective sewer network into compliance. To rehabilitate it, this street thought about adding a little green color to beautify the daily life of residents and businesses. The “revegetation permit” granted to volunteers also stipulates a charter to respect the environment by removing weeds by hand, without the use of chemical fertilizers and phytosanitary products. Residents of the lower part of Rue de la République can also participate in the maintenance of the feet of their facade.
