FANTASY BASEL announces the list of movie stars

Spanish actress Itziar Ituño comes to FANTASY BASEL – The Swiss Comic Con. Ituño gained international fame with her role as Commissioner Raquel Murillo aka Lisbon in the Spanish hit series Money Heist. Before that, she worked on several Spanish TV shows, mainly in the Basque Country.

As confirmed by British actor Chuko Modu. Modo is best known for his roles in ‘The Good Doctor’, ‘Captain Marvel’, ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘The 100’ TV series. The two talk about their work on the film sets at FANTASY BASEL – The Swiss Comic. It is also available for photos and signatures.

More active behind the camera are Flo Foxworthy from Weta Workshop and Sanit Klamchanuan from New Zealand. The award-winning Weta Workshop designs and produces costumes and props, primarily for blockbuster cinema. For example, for the movie “Avatar: The Way of Water,” for which the company won an Oscar for “Best Video Effects” at the 2023 Academy Awards.

Foxworthy, Head of Fashion at Weta, and Klamchanuan talk about their latest project in FANTASY BASEL. These include “Avatar: The Way of Water,” “Thor: Love and Thunder,” and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”

Actress MyAnna Buring will also be there. She’s a familiar face in Hollywood for her performance in The Witcher as Tissaia de Vries and as the Slovak vampire Tanya Denali in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. Together with Sean Biggerstaff, one of the best Quidditch goalkeepers from «Harry Potter», they bring magic to the festival.

There is also Ross Marquand (“The Walking Dead”, “Avengers”), Freddie Stroma (“Peacemaker”, “Bridgerton”, “Game of Thrones”) and many other movie greats.

FANTASY BASEL – Swiss Comic Con is the largest pop culture festival in Switzerland and will take place from 18th to 20th May 2023 in Messe Basel.
