Lindsay Park import Poetic Dream is set to begin his spring campaign in a straight race at Flemington. The Irish-bred former German horse will run in blinkers first-up in the Gr. 3 Aurie's Star Handicap on Saturday. Poetic Dream arrived at Lindsay Park having won twice in Germany from five starts and was sent out favourite for his Australian debut in March on the strength of an impressive Werribee jumpout, but he managed only a fifth placing at Flemington.
