The A$3 million Gr. 1 Doncaster Mile is the autumn target for the New Zealand-bred Crack Me Up.

The Randwick feature is the long-term goal for the son of Mossman, who will attempt to add tomorrow’s A$1 million Magic Millions Cup at the Gold Coast to his record.

“He is back at Eagle Farm after a freshen-up at Archer Park and he is ready to race well,” trainer Liam Birchley said.

Win, lose or draw tomorrow, the last-start Gr. 2 Villiers Stakes winner will have a short break before he begins his Doncaster build-up.

“I would be stupid not to aim him at the Doncaster. It is one of Australia’s great races and he doesn’t have to go in the ballot,” Birchley said. “Also, the winners or placegetters in the Villiers have run well in the Doncaster of late.”
