Travel between New Zealand and Western Australia resumes

Again all travelers from Australia are allowed to travel freely to New Zealand. The bubble between the two countries was partially suspended last week due to the discovery of Covid cases in the Perth region.

With Perth emerging from three days of strict containment, New Zealand announced the resumption of flights with the Western Australian capital at noon on Wednesday.

The flights were suspended last week, which – in part – halted the “Trans-Tasman bubble”, this free travel bubble on April 18th between Australia and New Zealand.

The guarantees are sufficient

For New Zealand authorities, Perth’s containment and local government guarantees have been favorable for the resumption of flights.

Thousands of people have been tested in Western Australia in recent days, but only two cases of Covid have been detected. A decision of imprisonment was issued after the positive examination that was conducted on a traveler who is subject to quarantine procedures, but he went to the restaurant, the university, the doctor, and the home of a friend.
