The World Championships are about to begin, event of the year for world baseball: The Houston Astros and Atlanta Braves are vying for a title that has been missing in one case since 2017, in the other since 1995. And that’s not exactly the last season that was to be expected.

It’s not because the Braves were able to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers, who have flexed their muscles a lot this season. For the Astros, this is their third occurrence from 2017 to today, and it’s an indication of great consistency. It is already known that Houston will play Framber Valdez as a starter, while Atlanta will strike back with Charlie Morton. The series will begin in Minute Maid Park in Houston, move to Trustist Park and then (possibly) return to Texas permanently. The first time for two managers over the age of 65 at the World Championships, as well as the first time for two teams belonging to the southern states of the United States.
