The Mario movie will be released early in some parts of the world
With yesterday’s new Mario Movie trailer and a new commercial released earlier today, we have more news for Illumination’s upcoming animated film about an Italian plumber and his adventures in the Mushroom Kingdom.
As spotted by VGC, it looks like this Super Mario Bros movie It is receiving an early release in parts of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and South America.
The film will be released in Belgium on March 22, while Switzerland, Austria and Sweden can watch the film on the 23rd or 24th of the month. France and the United Kingdom will receive the film on March 29 and 30, respectively.
Australia and New Zealand will also have the opportunity to see the film on March 30, as will most of South America, including Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and Paraguay. However, the release dates in the US and Japan remain unchanged – in North America, the film is scheduled to be released on April 7, while Japan will have to wait until April 27.
