The French XV will face Japan, New Zealand and Argentina during the autumn tour

France now knows the location and times of its autumn tour, which will take place from November 9 to 22. After a summer tour of Argentina, where Antoine Dupont's teammates will face Pumas twice in one week (July 6 and 13), they will compete with three other teams to conclude 2024.
The Blues will return to Stade de France on November 9 against Japan. Back in their dugout for the Tricolores who in 2023 played all over France due to work on the caddy for Paris 2024 – a competition during which the Blues captain will be asked to play rugby 7. Japan are an affordable opponent for XV France, to whom they have never lost in seven matches (six wins and one draw) which remained eliminated from the group stage in the last World Cup.
Fabien Galthier's men will next face New Zealand on November 16, whom they beat in their World Cup opener on September 8 (27-13). They will conclude their year with a third duel with Argentina on November 22.
The tour is scheduled to begin on November 2 with a match between England and the All Blacks at Twickenham, and conclude on November 30 with a match between Ireland and Australia at the Aviva Stadium. Note two shocks: a repeat of the quarter-final clash at the summit of the last World Cup between Ireland and New Zealand on November 8, and the world champions' trip from South Africa to England on November 16.
