Expectations are growing for the Italian Sailing Grand Prix, which is the only Italian event in SailGP, the F50 Flying Boat Championship, which in a week, 5 and 6 June, will see eight competitions in the Mar Grande di Taranto regatta tournament. The SailGP Race Village in Taranto is already under construction these days on the waterfront, in the historic Rotonda Marinai d’Italia, in the heart of the city, a location with a breathtaking view of the Mar Grande, an ideal location for the sights of the SailGP region. Created in cooperation with Cantine San Marzano and with a refreshment area, Race Village will have free access and will, in accordance with infection control regulations, allow to follow live boat races commentaries and attend an award ceremony. Two formats have been proposed for this “experience on the water”, with tickets sold for days: “Basic” at 34 EUR and “Premium” at 68 EUR which provides an exclusive location on the perimeter of the competition in addition to a selection of snacks and drinks on board.
