Heavens Keep is warming up for spring racing and he highlighted a quiet gallop session at Awapuni this morning. Fast work took place on the plough (good) and on the heavy No 1 grass. Heavens Keep used the plough and had Ronald Stam aboard over 800m in 49.6, the last 600m in 37.5, and the Savabeel gelding will likely begin a new campaign over a sprint distance sometime during the Hawke's Bay triple crown carnival.
