Talented two-year-old Atenartin showed he was on song for the Levin Racing Club's Ryder Stakes at Awapuni on Saturday with a very pleasing trial this morning. Fast work took place on the plough (good) and on the heavy No 1 grass. Atenartin used the plough and had Lucy Tanner-trained maiden Eugenie Joy (by Dalghar) for a partner over a smart 1000m in 1:2.7, the last 600m in 37.7.
