Many Steelbooks from Universal, Warner and Paramount can now be pre-ordered from Amazon.de! – Update 8

A large batch of limited Steelbooks, which will be distributed by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment in the fourth quarter of 2023 at the German retailer, is now suddenly listed on online retailer Amazon.de and can be pre-ordered. This applies to HD and 4K Steelbook Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning: Part 1 (Great Britain, Italy, Norway, USA, UAE 2023) with Tom Cruise, on 10.19.2019. It will appear, in addition to current blockbusters MiG-2 (China, Thailand, USA 2023) with Jason Statham, which is due to be available in 4K Steelbook November 02, 2023. And also evil dead rise (Ireland, New Zealand and USA 2023) also got a 4K Steelbook.

But that was not all. Also a horror movie “The Exorcist” (USA 1973) now confirmed and will also receive a 4K Steelbook in Germany on October 19, 2023. At the same time one appears Ultimate Collector’s Edition From the horror sector. Already on October 12, 2007, a horror film was released “M3GAN” (New Zealand, USA 2022) later in 4K on Ultra HD Blu-ray and also on Steelbook. So are the new Steelbook releases that have been proposed abroad “Wrecking Man” (US 1993) and “Westworld” (USA 1973) finds its way to German trade and will be released October 19, 2023. “Westworld” also gets the Special Edition with extras from us. Update 2 (08/03):There’s a final cover shot of “Evil Dead Rise” in the 4K Steelbook. This reveals that the “brand new bonus material” will also be used when the special edition is released. Blu-ray and 4K UHD came out in the Keep Case without extras, as we did review prove.

Update 3 (from August 3 at 2 p.m.):We have added more product images to the above gallery as well as to the database. These confirm that the three “Halloween” movies will be presented in three steel books in the library box. However, in the Special Edition, movies are only available in 4K on Ultra HD Blu-ray. Blu-ray is not included. Furthermore, the final product image of the “Demolition Man” Steelbook proves that the Special Edition will only be a simple remake.

Update 4 (from August 3 at 2:55 PM):Attention: 4K producers of “The Exorcist” can also be pre-ordered on jpc.de at any moment! – And he went again!

Update 5 (from Aug. 4 at 10:05 a.m.):Some of the special editions, which are already sold out on Amazon.de, can now be pre-ordered at jpc.de. This applies, for example, to “School of Rock”, “Scream 3”, “Rise of the Evil Dead” and others.

Update 6 (from 07.08):There is important news about the release “sting”. In this country, the Deluxe Edition will not contain the Steelbook. Instead, the Keep Case is only available on the Special Edition. Booklet, film cell, and 4 art cards are included.

Update 7 (from 08/08 at 07:20):MediaMarktSaturn also slowly starts listing the special editions. “Evil Dead Rise”, “Scream 3”, “Halloween H20”, “M3GAN” and “Smile” can now be pre-ordered at 4K Steelbooks from €29.99 on MediaMarkt.de and Saturn.de.
