KTM RC 390 Final, will it be?

RC 390

First seen in testing last summer, the new RC 390 was recently seen in what should now be its final form.
Upon closer examination, the numerous updates mentioned earlier (here are other spy photos dating back to March) will be mostly confirmed: for example, the front part loses the old model’s double headlights, and here it is replaced by a single optical headlamp that leads it With the help of the daytime running lights, you always drive, which includes direction indicators. The same applies to the aerodynamics, which have been redesigned and feature a sharper line, and the tank is shaped differently to improve passenger legroom. On a technical level, there are rumors of more important updates, which will take care of both the chassis, from the chassis to the suspension, as well as the mechanics, with the arrival of a new electronic control unit. The new RC 390 is born from the 390 Duke rib and will be powered by its own engine, already Euro 5 and capable of generating 44 hp and 35 Nm of torque.
It remains to be seen when it can arrive: as shown in the new photos, complete in orange rather than black, they can suggest an “early” arrival, even if nothing is official yet. Staying on the hypothesis most likely, we will be able to see it on display in the halls of EICMA 2021, ready to land in KTM dealerships starting in 2022. Once again, we just have to wait for further developments.
