In Crozon, the Fête de la science meditates on “arousing invitations” – Crozon
Like every year at the same time, the Fête de la science invites itself to the Peninsula, led by Geneviève Terrière, a former CNRS researcher and regional delegate for research and technology, and her partner Pascal Perdriau, President of Cap des Etoiles. In the programme, three weekends of scientific discoveries, exhibitions, joint experiences and diverse and varied workshops, which will be experienced between Crozon, Camaret and Lanvéoc.

Next Saturday and Sunday, Crozon’s Maison du temps libre will host, free of charge, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., the “Science Village,” which will feature its famous planetarium and immersive videos in space or under the oceans. Exhibits from the CNRS or the Paris Observatory will also be visible, as will short science films and stands related to biodiversity, ornithology or even climate and ecology. “This year, Geneviève Terrière and Serge Kergoat and Coastal Crozon are set, or Citizens and Climate.”

Since Genevieve Terrier is committed to “sparking scientific vocations among the youngest”, various participatory science projects with researchers, implemented by schoolchildren from the peninsula, will be presented. What to see up close and learn more about the point or shark of Saint-Fiacre students, or cave paintings or jellyfish and plankton, studied by those of Tal-ar-Groas.
The travel, Fête de la science and its science village will be on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October in the Saint-Ives Room, in Camaret, and then on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 October, in the marine area of Lanvéoc.
