Even without RHEA good entertainment in “Summer in St. Vith”
Before the concerts began, Fördergemeinschaft (FG) St.Vith had to disappoint some visitors: the Flemish band RHEA, who had recently played on the main stage of the Rock Werchter, canceled their attendance at short notice because the singer was suffering from laryngitis. “But the band members assured us that they would make up for the performance at St. Faith at a later time,” said moderator Pascal Gangolf. So the organizers had to adapt the evening programme: “But we found a very good solution with Jérôme David, better known as DJ Schrohm,” said FG member Eric Fonk. “From our point of view, the evening went well. Moad and SKOR both put in great performances.” Shortly before 1am ended, some visitors danced to DJ Shrohm. Compared to the first evening, FG made some adjustments, among other things, access is no longer through the lobby of the Triangel Cultural Center because it caused a bit of a buildup, but directly through the inner courtyard. Grenzlandmusikanten and the BrassaBumm formation enter the program next week. Eric Funk looks forward to a great folk evening: “That’s what makes the series of events so special. Every night we attract a different audience. Regio Rock attracts different people than a DJ night. And next week we’ll have other visitors again. This combination is beautiful. After all, There should be something for every musical taste.” FG President Thomas Gritten also confirmed the company’s new set of ‘Summertime’ celebrations. Concretely, early evening corporate catering, which is served on the premises. Companies record at every musical evening. It’s a great way to plan your vacation. “(dad)
