Republican elected officials in the US Congress on Tuesday called for the dismissal of White House medical advisor Anthony Fauci, Donald Trump’s pet wrath, over his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Dr. Fauci was not elected by the Americans. He was not chosen to run our economy. He was not chosen to decide on children’s education through parental superiority, and yet Dr. Fauci practically controlled our lives for a year.” Parliamentarian Marjorie Taylor Green has been accused of introducing a bill calling for his impeachment.
This text has no chance of being approved in the Democratic-controlled Congress, but half a dozen Republican lawmakers elected to the House of Representatives have used their offer to conclude that the world has cheated the country.
Paul Gosar, speaking of the giant Chinese city of Wuhan, where the virus first appeared in late 2019, accused Dr. Fauci of lying for months about the origins of the Wuhan virus. He has “gave conflicting advice about the source of the virus. The transmission of the virus, the virulence of the virus, the efficacy of masks and vaccines, and the efficacy of social distancing.”
