A popular Bondi restaurant apologized to an Italian traveler for “embarrassing and insulting” her Choose an outfit.

North Bondi fish was criticized on social media after refusing to serve Martina Corradi and her boyfriend on Thursday for their “revealing” clothing.

Shocked and offended by the way she was treated, Corradi posted her experience on Facebook.

Since then, the restaurant has turned spectacularly, today issuing a public apology to Corradi, who was wearing linen pants, high heels and a restaurant top when she visited the restaurant on Thursday.

Jimma Swanson, general manager of North Bondy Fish, said on Saturday that the restaurant apologized to Corradi for the “miscalculation” and offered her a free meal, according to the Daily Mail.

“We reviewed the incident and acknowledge that it was a mistake in judgment to ask Martina and her partner to leave the restaurant,” Swanson told the newspaper.

“We have contacted Martina since then, apologizing for the wrong judgment and we have invited her and her partner to come back to have lunch or dinner with us.

“We obey the casual dress code and it is clear that Martina should not have been asked to leave.

As a result, we will retrain all of our staff and management in our protocols including the dress code.

“We pride ourselves on welcoming everyone to enjoy the North Bondi fish experience.”

The incident first caught attention after fitness model and personal trainer Corradi posted about it on Facebook’s Bondi Local Loop group, asking what people thought of the outfit and whether it was inappropriate.

“I just want an outside opinion … because I felt so embarrassed and offended at the same time,” she wrote.

“We checked in and are seated [sic] On the balcony outside, in the sun. The waitress as soon as she sat down [sic] She said I don’t wear good clothes and that is unacceptable for me to stay in a place like this.

“My boyfriend and I looked at it and didn’t know what to say. We were shocked!”

Most people seem to agree that there is nothing wrong with the outfit.

One woman wrote, “Don’t look so well – especially for Bondi Beach restaurant context !! And it is stupid if people feel offended by the display of little boob meat, if I were flat, would they be okay with that look ?? I hate having to be Just aware that my breasts look amazing. “

Another added: “Sir, you look great – it wouldn’t be right for the office but not for the beachside restaurant.”

One woman even commented, “If you were a blonde Australian girl Instagram follows you in this outfit, it would have been a different story.”

While some speculated that her shirt looked a lot like underwear and that was the reason employees were skeptical about it, most agreed that the woman was treated unprofessional (even if she broke the restaurant’s dress code).
