“Austria loses pioneers in inclusive education”
Vienna (OTS) – Education Minister Heinz Wassmann received the news of the tragic accident from Herbert Pichler, Chairman of the Austrian Disability Board, with deep astonishment and sorrow.
“Herbert Pichler was a pioneer and companion in the development of inclusive education in Austria – relentlessly, consistently and with great personal commitment. I really appreciated President Pichler,” He was not a dogmatic, but a special character with vision and insight.
The federal government is currently working on the procedures for the National Disability Action Plan 2022-2030. “We are currently finalizing the procedures in the education and science system. President Pichler worked closely with my home – we were all deeply moved and shocked. We will work to promote and develop inclusive education in Austria for his benefit,” said Federal Minister Wassmann.
