A refugee in Germany since September 2020, Mr. Sadat takes German lessons and bikes meals on behalf of Lieferando in Leipzig. However, nothing was set for him to do the job: an ICT graduate, Mr. Sadat was Minister of Communications Afghan government for two years until 2018.

“Everyone needs to work! If you have to pay rent, and you need money to buy food and shelter, you have to work. Just because you were a minister doesn’t mean you shouldn’t work and do nothing,” he told Reuters.

Despite his degrees, Sayed Sadat has not found a job that matches his experience. He said, “It doesn’t matter.” I was a minister in the service of the people, now I am a delivery man, always in the service of the people. ”

In German lessons until the end of the day, he rides his bike for six hours of delivery every day, with great pride: “I could have been one of those corrupt ministers, I could have made millions. Dollars, buying buildings here, hotels in Dubai I didn’t need to work But I am proud, my soul is at peace and I should not feel guilty about anything.”
