How a small summer job took Catherine Bloomberg to her opposite spots before she returned to settle in Graubünden, in Ellans, on the banks of the Rhine.
Sitting on a bench in the sun, in front of the headquarters of Swiss River Adventures, Catherine Bloomberg rides Elanz-based canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding, still enjoying Olympic calm amid the hustle and bustle. “Where do you leave your bag?” My helmet is pressing on me so hard! What started as a small summer job in Switzerland gradually affected my whole life,” says Catherine, laughing with brown eyes.
