On Saturday, at the Backpackers’ Books Space, Claire Baron, librarian in charge of the men’s media library, came with Véronique Terrier to read children’s books as part of their “Vacances se la content” (The Vacations Tell the Story). Dozens of children, accompanied by two mothers and a father, were able to discover stories on the theme of spring, told by animators giving life to a little hen in love with a fox, the round of seasons, the dangerous movement of 999 tadpoles too cramped in their little pond … The session was interspersed with beautiful nursery rhymes and songs, Then Véronique Terrier showed the kids how to make an origami fox. With enthusiasm, ingenuity and a good sense of humor, budding artists have created families of foxes that they decorate with good humor and spontaneity. A snack in the school yard ended this fun and creative workshop that was much appreciated by all.
