The Beths release a new single, Watching The Credits
With “Watching The Credits,” The Beths released their next pop anthem. The song came about during the writing sessions for her current album, Expert In A Dying Field, which was released last September, but it did not appear on the album. On the other side stereo chewing gum Lead lead Elizabeth Stokes revealed the inspiration behind the song: “For a long time I didn’t like watching movies, but I loved learning about movies,” says Stokes. “Podcasts, articles, YouTube videos, behind-the-scenes clips, and critical analysis. I read Wikipedia summaries of the plot rather than watch the movie.”
A few days ago, the “Tiny Desk Concert” by an indie rock band from New Zealand was also posted on YouTube. The concert series was launched in 2008 by the American radio network NPR and has already welcomed several well-known musicians to editor Bob Bolen’s office in recent years, performing some of their most famous songs in an acoustically reduced form. This also applies to hardcore turnstiles.
In June, The Beths come to Germany for a few dates as part of their European tour. Tickets are already available online.
