The Alstef Group, based in Boigny-sur-Bionne, has acquired the American company Solution Net Systems LLC

The Alstef Group, headquartered in Boigny-sur-Bionne and chaired by Pierre Marol – which designs, integrates and maintains automated systems for airport and indoor markets – has acquired a new company.

Alstef Group becomes the owner of Solution Net Systems LLC (SNS), an American company based in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, that specializes in automated parcel sorting systems and warehouse automation solutions.

Solution Net Systems LLC operates in the e-commerce, agri-food, pharmaceutical, postal, retail, logistics, transportation and distribution industries.

“SNS offers a world-class, tailor-made approach to logistics; from design, engineering and integration to operation, project management and technical assistance,” says Alstef Group.

“Its acquisition expands Alstef’s global presence and streamlines our existing range of products and services within our dedicated parcel sorting automation business,” confirms Nicholas Britton, Managing Director.

SNS employs forty-five people; Alstef Group, 800. Since 2018, Boigny also owns Glidepath, an innovative New Zealand company in baggage and parcel handling systems.

Alstef Group was founded in 2018, with three operating units: Alstef Automation, in Boigny; Systèmes, in Ille-et-Vilaine and Glidepath, in New Zealand.
