While stuck in a massive traffic jam, customers in a shopping mall abandoned their cars after several hours of waiting.
It is an unusual scene that occurred in a shopping center in Cardiff, Wales. In fact, customers, stuck in an endless traffic jam, preferred to abandon their cars immediately rather than wait for the end of the traffic jam.
The traffic jam occurred in the mall’s underground car park. But as the hours went by, nothing seemed to move. Therefore, customers preferred to get out of their cars and leave them in the parking lot. So some returned home on foot or by public transportation.

The traffic jam would have lasted about 3 hours. While the traffic jams started at 2:30pm, the local press indicated that cars were not fully disinfected until 8pm! Many cool photos have been transmitted on social networks.
According to the shopping centre, the origin of the traffic jams would be a traffic light outside the car park which only allows vehicles to exit in case of drops in traffic that has already been disrupted by holiday departures.
