Resident Evil’s Spencer’s mansion is more terrifying than ever in Unreal Engine 5
A remake by Team Arklay, which promises to soon revisit other iconic places of the Resident Evil franchise: in addition to Spencer’s mansion, its members will venture into three other areas, including the laboratory.
Resident Evil franchise fans, here is the entertainment under Unreal Engine 5 that should satisfy you. A team of developers gathered under the Arklay banner has rebuilt a Capcom-run license cult place: Spencer’s Mansion. It’s a setting that gamers overtook from the first opus, Resident Evil, published in 1996. It was then used as a framework about fifteen times in the games that followed.
Unfortunately, this recreation is not available for download. The channel I shared, RE Biohazard, warns that other popular Resident Evil locations will appear in the latest version of the Epic Games engine; Namely the Backyard, Guest House (Old House?), and Laboratory (our knowledge of Resident Evil is very limited, we’re not sure of the French names for these different places – feel free to flag us a possible error).
The description states: “In this new sequence, you will discover developments and progress on the game map as well as transformations in symbolic areas. It will consist of four chapters in which we will show the mansion, backyard, guesthouse and laboratory. We hope you like it. Thank you for supporting the ARKLAY TEAM .»

The Dino Crisis remake has been cancelled
By the way, we have already talked about the work of this Arklay team in 2019, at that time as part of the Dino Crisis remake in Unreal Engine 4. Be aware that the developers have abandoned this project. They also deleted all of your videos.
Coming back to Resident Evil, the last released title is Resident Evil 4 remake, posted on March 24. It rotates in the RE engine. Available for €60 on Steam, it received an excellent critical reception, with a Metascore of 93. Gamers Are Harder has a score of 6.6 from 3248 reviews; Well, on Steam, this title nonetheless has “very positive” overall ratings based on nearly 50,000 reviews.
Finally, in terms of remakes in Unreal Engine 5, we’ve ported several of them in recent months. Among the things I loved most was the great new version of The Simpsons: Hit and Run, the Bully and Doom 3 sequence or the video showing the Riverwood village from Skyrim in UE5.
