“coda”
The tragic comedy “Coda” is considered the surprising success of this year’s Academy Awards. The film tells the story of a girl who grew up in a deaf family. The film team can look forward to three awards – including the Oscar for Best Picture. Director Sian Heder sees the victory as a “historic moment” for the deaf and independent scene.
The film will not come to German cinemas. It is available directly on the Apple TV + streaming provider platform.

“Dune”
The fantasy saga “Dunes” won six awards this year, and thus the most. The movie can be streamed via Sky Ticket or purchased on Amazon. This year, a film about the desert planet Arrakis won in the categories “Best Film Music” with Hans Zimmer and “Best Camera” with Greg Fraser.
“Tami Fay’s Eyes”
Jessica Chastain won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in portraying the wife of television preacher Jim Packer, which is full of scandals and scandals. After slapping comedian Chris Rock, Will Smith won his first Oscar in his career. With the drama “King Richard” he won the “Best Leading Actor” category.
