New Zealand does it again

In a new test match, New Zealand defeated England for the second time in a row (24-17) on Saturday.

New Zealand were, once again, the stronger side. This Saturday, a week after their first win over England (16-15), the All Blacks again beat XV de la Rose (24-17), at the end of a rather entertaining match. From the 11th minute of play, the New Zealanders opened the scoring, with a first try scored by their winger Mark Tilea, who fired the ball into the corner, despite the return of midfielder Emmanuel Faye-Waboso. In the process, Damien McKenzie managed to convert in the first half, 25 metres to the left.

Just three minutes later, Fai-Waboso responded with a try down the middle. The first attempt was converted by Marcus Smith in the first half, against the Poles, from close range (14th place). In the 22nd minute, McKenzie added three small points for his team, scoring a penalty, before adding a second, in the 38th minute. Before the end of the first half, the full-back Tommy Freeman went to score the second attempt for England, then Smith converted it with a cross from 29 metres to the right (40th place +1).

However, the English advanced at the break.

Upon his return to the dressing room, the Englishman, who knew how to exploit the difficulties that Telia was facing on his wing, took a small lead (13-14). During the second half, Smith added three more points from a 25-meter penalty kick in the axis (49).

The All Blacks, under Beauden Barrett, whose introduction on the pitch did much for his team (50th), then ended up waking up.In the 62nd minute of play, thanks to a brace from Telia, who shot from the left side for a corner kick. This time, McKenzie missed his conversion, before he was followed by a penalty kick in the 69th minute and then in the 75th minute. Six final points were enough for the New Zealanders to confirm this new success. New Zealand still have one test match to play. It will be next Saturday against Fiji.
