New CEO for Australia and New Zealand
Europcar Mobility Group announces the appointment of Benoît Garel to the position of Managing Director of Europcar Mobility Group Australia-New Zealand, which covers all of the group’s activities in this region. Beno Gart Garel succeeds Ron Santiago, who has been appointed Managing Director of Europcar Mobility Group UK.

This will include – in the short, medium and long term – developing contactless services and increasing flexibility in the service offering, accelerating the deployment of a “green” fleet (hybrid and electric) and maintaining a culture that puts customer and employee safety at the heart of the Group’s concerns.
In the coming months, Benoît Garel and his teams will seek to take advantage of the range of services offered by the group in all the countries in which it is present, while keeping lease terms as flexible as possible in the sector. Taking into account the current health situation, and by providing all customers with clean and sterile vehicles for their safety and peace of mind.
Benoît Garel started his career at KPMG, then in private equity. He joined the Europcar Mobility Group in 2008 and has held various management positions within the group’s central functions, including the position of Group Management Controller. In 2018, he was appointed Managing Director of “Medium Sized” Countries, where he was responsible for integrating the newly acquired countries into the group.
