Netflix enriches its subscribers' offerings with two new features

Spatial Audio is now available to all Netflix subscribers at no additional cost. Premium customers can now download content to more devices.

While it seeks to gain subscribers thanks to its display of ads, Netflix does not forget about its other offerings. The leader in SVOD today launches spatial audio on all devices for all of its subscribers, including basic and standard. The downside, the number of titles is limited for the cheaper packages. Netflix Premium subscribers can get cinematic audio on over 700 of the most watched titles on Netflix, like “Stranger Things,” “Wednesday,” and “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.”

Netflix will continue to add spatial audio to new titles as they are released. To find out which movies and series support this feature, users can type “Spatial Audio” in the Netflix search bar. A new spatial audio cue is now also integrated into content display sheets.

Meanwhile, Premium subscribers can now download Netflix titles to watch offline on six devices simultaneously, up from four.

“As people are more connected than ever with multiple devices, we have learned through research that members would like the ability to download Netflix series and movies to watch offline on more devices, especially when traveling and switching between devices.”Rishu Arora, Director of Product Management at Netflix, said in an official blog post.
