Microsoft is following up and signing its agreements with the European platform, Nware | Xbox One

After the CMA acquisition of Activision Blizzard was blocked due to the dominant position that Microsoft could have in the field of cloud gaming, the giant

A new cloud partner for Microsoft

It seems that Microsoft is determined to enter into partnerships with all players in the cloud gaming sector, and today Nware has joined the company’s list of partners.

The agreement is similar to that signed with other cloud gaming platforms, and thus guarantees that Xbox-developed PC games and Activision titles will be distributed on the platform for 10 years, if the agreement is validated.

Microsoft and European cloud gaming platform Nware signed a 10-year agreement to stream PC games made by Xbox on its platform, as well as Activision Blizzard titles after the acquisition closed.

While it’s still early days for the emerging cloud gaming sector, this new partnership, along with our other recent commitments, will allow more popular games to be available on cloud gaming streaming services than they are today.

Nware offers cloud gaming solutions through monthly and annual subscriptions with scalable storage. You can access your games on all your devices via a dedicated app.

As with GeForceNOW, you must first purchase your games on different platforms. Steam, Epic Games, Ubisoft, Roblox and Minecraft launchers are specifically supported by Nware.

Microsoft set foot in Europe

After GeForceNOW, Boosteroid or even Ubitus, this time a European partner was chosen, and it is clearly not accidental. The European Commission must issue its ruling on May 22, and Microsoft has an interest in verifying the acquisition.

It’s not clear if this new partnership will help Microsoft get its way. Europe will deliver its verdict on May 22nd, and it goes without saying that things have to happen every now and then.
