Marseille Fair: Marseille region, a natural city and many activities – from 24/09/2021 to 04/10/2021 – Marseille

Gather in the nature of 1,200 square meters in the heart of the Marseille Fair from September 24 to October 4.

Fully realized by the authorities and services in the green spaces of the city of Marseille, this space reflects the will of the municipality to engage in an environmentally responsible and ethical approach, reducing overproduction, environmental impact and waste in favor of the reuse of materials and in-house knowledge.

The city of Marseille invites you to take advantage of:

– An imaginary seaside promenade thanks to the reconstruction of a rocky bay, sandy beach and a shed with a look typical of the small harbors that punctuate our coasts;

– a place for relaxation and rest, decorated with wooden furniture, shaded balconies, deck chairs and parasols;

– 380 m² of vegetation, a sample of local flora: canopy pines, Aleppo pines, fig trees, olive trees, rosemary, thyme, laurel laurel, castus, myrtle, arbutus, vines, pinon …;

– An educational garden of 40 m2.

– an ornament identified by a 25-meter illustration, symbolizing the coast of Marseille, from Pointe des Goudes to l’Estaque;

– space for activities and discussions with elected municipal officials;

– An advanced 8×2.4m fresco that will reduce the themes that the city defends under the artist’s tears brush

Beyond that, the mural will appear as a sort of manifesto for the upcoming candidacy of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Marseille’s port.

Getting started with memorizing gestures
The Marseille Marine Fire Brigade will provide you with first aid (for adults) and also offer a playmobil workshop for children to make them aware of local dangers.

Musical entertainment on the platform

The suite’s musical entertainment will be handed over to the Borderline group and acclaimed DJ Bobzilla will bring his unforgettable blind auditions to life. It will sweep the standards of pop rock, hip-hop, and movies from the 1960s to the present day. Fun and engaging atmosphere guaranteed.
