Major Connection Issues in XDefiant: You're not alone, Ubisoft is taking care of this issue! | X-Box

Today, Ubisoft celebrates the release of XDefiant. Unfortunately, the free FPS release was highly anticipated, and the servers are currently experiencing several disruptions.

Ubisoft is on the case

As we can read everywhere on social networks and other forums, it seems that connecting to the game and finding games is currently complicated. In the first message posted early in the evening, Ubisoft indicated that it was aware of the issues and asked players to be patient:

We realize that some players are unable to join the game. We ask that you be patient while we take care of our servers and matchmaking.

A few minutes ago, the company posted a second message to indicate that it is seeing improvements, but is continuing to work on resolving the issues:

We are seeing improvements in the issues players are experiencing in matchmaking and we are continuing to work on them. We will provide updates as soon as possible!

Although issues still persist, you'll likely see some improvements soon.
