Stage Manager: Apple Boosts Multitasking

Multitasking has always been an issue in macOS, and with Ventura, Apple is making major improvements. The operating system comes with a new feature known as Stage Manager. It’s on the left side of your Mac’s screen and can organize your open windows and apps, so you can focus on what you’re working on.

This is it A big change from the current systemIf you minimize an app or send it to the background, you may end up losing focus on it. The app is buried behind what you’re working on or stuck in a dock out of sight.

The new Stage Manager works similarly to the Windows 11 Snap Groups feature in the Windows taskbar. You can group your windows in this area when working on projects and pop them up as needed from the left side of your screen. You can also switch between windows using Stage Manager, and send content from your desktop to an app using the last Stage Manager shortcut.

Continuity Camera: Use your iPhone as a webcam

Your Mac probably doesn’t have the best webcam, unless it’s one of the newer models. Well, with the Continuity Camera feature, Apple wants to improve the video calling experience. That’s why it ranked second on our list of the best macOS Ventura features.

With it, your Mac will be able to recognize and use your iPhone’s camera when you are nearby. The phone can connect to your Mac wirelessly, without having to activate or select it.

Mail app update

You may have spent more time sending email on your Mac due to the pandemic. Third-party apps like Outlook have always been known to be more comprehensive than the Apple Mail app, but Apple is finally updating the original macOS Mail experience with several useful new features.

Search has been improved to be faster and smarter, and now fixes misspellings and spelling errors. It will also give you faster access to recent emails and documents. Also, you will be able to schedule emails and cancel the message after pressing the send button. Not to mention the settings reminders to go back to a message, automatic follow-up suggestions, and smart reminders for lost backups and attachments.

Other updates
