La Fabrique: Opening of a new space in the Emile Zola media library, Discovery Day Wednesday 17 November from 10am to 6pm.
The latest service created during the rehabilitation project of Emile Zola’s Central Media Library, La Fabrique, a new space dedicated to digital mediation, opens its doors in November 2021.
For an overview, the Metropolitan Media Library Network invites the public to Discovery Day on Wednesday, November 17, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Participants will be able to discover activities that allow them to learn computer code at any age, participate in programming or digital creation, or simply meet media library agents and discover the plant in all its aspects.
La Fabrique: a new space for digital mediation
Equipped with a primary room, self-study stations, a co-working alcove and modular workspaces, Fabrique offers a framework to combat digital divisions and a place to express and disseminate digital cultures jointly with players in the sector in Metropolis. In this fully purpose-built space, professionals work towards the democratization of digital: introductions to basic digital skills, electronic management with the help of newly hired digital advisors, but also audiovisual or graphic creation, robotics, 3D printing and learning code. ..
