The children of the entire Breton bilingual sector at Notre Dame School, in Saint-Ave, gave a concert on Friday 11 March at the Espace Jean-le-Jacques. Julie Boliquin, President of DeHon who recently became Divaskill Saint Teff explains: “We should have organized our annual festival, but due to the uncertain health conditions at the beginning of the year we had to cancel it. But for us, it was important to highlight the work done by the children The sector who worked this year with Cheick Tidiane Dia, an Avean musician of Malian origin, kora player.”
In front of a wide audience of parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, nearly a hundred students, by class and then collectively, sang Breton songs accompanied by chora. At the end of the ceremony, the audience shared the trophy and reconnected with moments of coexistence between the school families.
