Illustrated lecture in Winterlingen: Father-son reprieve in Middle-earth and the enigma of BH – Albstadt and surroundings

At VR-Bank Heuberg-Winterlingen, Andreas Seltmann spoke vividly and lively – also thanks to the great photos – about his time with his son in New Zealand and what he learned from them. Photo: Irish

30 days with son Tim alone in New Zealand – and Dolphin – changed Andreas Seltman’s life: for the better. In a virtual reality bank, tell what you’ve learned and show off beautiful pictures.

Winterlingen – “Starting tomorrow I won’t have to go to school anymore!” For Andreas Seltmann, the announcement of his son Tim, then 17, came like a bolt of blue on Monday evening at the snack table. Does his son have to have failed the school system on his way to a technical college entrance qualification? Denzlinger, who grew up in Frohnstetten, told VR Bank Heuberg-Winterlingen about the president’s visit, his realization that his son would start apprenticeships when he graduated, and the “magician” in the coaching company, “Tim as a human being”, but told him he should start his training Vocational “as if in school”.

His time as a protector is over

But Tim had 30 days between an Excel course and a vacation job – a chance for his son and dad to take a break together at the end of the world, which Seltman wrote a great book called “Neusie Sonland.” He didn’t read from her at all on Thursday night, but he did tell stories and sometimes put out beautiful pictures with just the right music.

For example, from cloud-free Mount Cook, New Zealand’s highest mountain, Seltman realized that his time as protector was over and that the 3,700-kilometre journey in a chariot through the southern and northern islands succeeded only if father and son met “at eye level.” Or about Tim’s eighteenth birthday in “Fjordland” and the cake the basement owner had brought him to the applause of all the guests who sang at once to Tim. What did Seltman learn from this? “There are people you don’t even know who are your friends!” It was a “magical moment”.

Suddenly in the middle of Middle-earth

And then, of course, a special Middle-earth experience was filmed: “The Lord of the Rings” – Seltman is a fan of JRR Tolkien’s mega-seller – was filmed mostly in New Zealand. “You’re suddenly in the middle of it!” rejoiced the author. Having his son trust him to navigate the rugged 309 rugged roads empowered the father – and the dolphin changed his life looking at him with one eye as he boarded a ship: “What are you really doing here?” The marketing manager of a medium-sized company asked himself this question – and decided to take the step into freelancing as a business manager, consultant, and lecturer.

There is more to the story than the experience report

On the other hand, the idea to write a book came to Seltman only at home. For he observed that there was more to travel report and experience report: “It is also a social issue,” the father knows, because “our children,” surrounded by “wonderful mothers, teachers, and teachers,” need their fathers to make men of them.

Saturday 1st of July Reserved

“Since then, you’ve treated me like a man,” Tim Seltman tells his dad today when they remember their 30-day break. Since then, the first Saturday in July belonged only to the two – to spend quality time together. That his daughter also has a “her” day with Dad: Of course. His advice to all parents: “If you’re there, be there!” Subtitle: Cell phones and other distractions are off!

How does a good thing come from a joke

Using Thera-Band, Seltmann showed that a healthy alternation between stress and relaxation is required in this relationship—then he solved the mystery of what the bra fence was about in one of his photos: Three New Zealand women got it first. Bras are hung just for fun. “Then more and more came, and in the meantime the Breast Cancer Foundation set up a donation fund there.” Something really good came out of a joke.
