Here is a list of Huawei smartphones that benefit from the April 2022 update

EMUI April 2022 update available. This security update improves system protection and should correct 28 security vulnerabilities. The good news: all Huawei and Honor devices released in the past three years can take advantage of it.

It’s been a few weeks since Huawei started rolling out EMUI 12 on smartphones and tablets around the world. If the latest version of the interface has long been reserved for the latest devices, which are devoid of Google Mobile Services in favor of Huawei Mobile Services, this is no longer the case. Today, models like P30 and P30 Pro can claim EMUI 12, while still enjoying HMS, as we saw with one of our editorial smartphones. This type of smartphone continues to use Android (at version 10, in this case).

If everything goes according to plan, the rollout of the new EMUI interface will be completed by the end of April 2022. Meanwhile, Huawei has just released another update related to system security. The April 2022 update fixes 28 flaws in EMUI, including 19 high and 9 medium.

The list is divided into two parts: on the one hand, devices that benefit from the monthly update, and on the other hand, smartphones and tablets that benefit from the quarterly update. But all are eligible for the April 2022 update. To update your smartphone or tablet, go through the following options: Settings > System updates > system update.
