“I actually photographed Diep in 2017, but when you love it doesn’t count. I spent a good portion of my teens there, years we never forgot… Thankfully the pictures can’t speak, I had thoughts I now regret about hairstyles in particular .”
This is the comment posted by Astronaut Thomas Bisquet On his Facebook account, with a photo taken from space showing Dieppe and the Alabaster Coast. Thomas Pesquet received his baccalaureate degree in Jihan-Anju High School Deep.
An astronaut grew up avainear Dieppe.
A little gift from NASA
Shortly after this photo was taken, Thomas Pesquet was receiving judgments about the International Space Station: “When you welcome a new cargo ship, their fridges and coolers are usually full of science experiments, but that was a big surprise to us…cheese. It doesn’t take much to make a French person happy (and obviously also Japanese). Thanks to the NASA teams looking after us, It’s the kind of little thought that boosts the morale of the crew and makes us want to work even harder!”
