At the beginning of October, the most awaited meeting of the women’s rugby union opens: the World Cup in New Zealand. After a year of postponement due to the pandemic in the fall of 2021, the world’s best rugby players gather in Whangarei and Auckland to compete in a high-profile competition. Bronze medalists six times out of eight editions of the competition, the French women have reached the other side of the world with the strong intention of improving their best results and finally reaching the World Cup final.
