The Special Committee on the Draft Law on Securing and Regulating Digital Space met on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 to establish its office and launch its work.

The Office of the Special Committee shall consist of the following:

President: Catherine Morin-Desailly (Union Centriste, Seine-Maritime)

Rapporteurs: Patrick Chase (Less Republic, Ain) and Luc Hervé (Union Centerste, Haute-Savoie)

The Special Committee will begin its work with a hearing of Department Commissioner Cécile Augeraud, Head of the Central Office for Combating ICT-related Crime (OCLCTIC) on Wednesday 7 June at 4 p.m. Digital Transformation and Telecommunications on Thursday, June 8 at 2:30 p.m. Further hearings are scheduled for the following weeks.

The special committee will study the bill on Tuesday, June 27, before examining it in a public session scheduled for the beginning of July.
