Two large projects will be implemented in the city center of Dijon within the framework of participatory budgets. The largest sum (costing €30,000) aims to create a space for the families who live there. It was the children of the neighborhood (the walls of Montée de Guise and Tivoli) who thought and designed this project with its submission to participatory budgets. Indeed, the majestic stairs do not allow the smallest to meet and play. So they envisioned an area with a “playground, plant and vegetable garden” or even “games printed on the ground”.

An idea adopted by the city, which specifies that “this project is relevant and meets the real needs of children and youth in this region.”

New mural, Monge Street

A few hundred meters away, another work was planned, that of creating a mural before street artist Dijon RNST. It must be done at the entrance to Monge Street, on the gable building. The cost of this operation is estimated at 15,000 euros.

In the same area you will plant trees. The chosen area will depend on the study of the lower floors, but must be between Tivoli, Transvaal, Schegneau or Pasteur streets (1000 euros). There is also a bicycle repair and overhaul station. It will be installed in the city center (2,200 euros).
